About Program
This curriculum integrates knowledge of Prakrit and Jain history along with Hindi and English. Over a period of three years, the syllabus includes Jainism, Agamic studies and literature, Sanskrit grammar and literature, Indian philosophy, cosmology, stotra literature, Jain metaphysics, Jain ethical practices, and knowledge of arts in Jain culture.
The course highlights Jainism and its antiquity, Jain culture, Jain sculpture and architecture, and their relevance in daily life. Study tours, practical training, and project work are also integral parts of the curriculum.
Any student who has passed the 12th standard is eligible to enroll in this course. After completing the B.A. program, students will have opportunities to pursue M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D., and advanced research in Jainism.
